Open Quote The worse mistake I ever made was sending our middle child of 3 kids there. This school is something you see off TV. While there has been a push for parent evolvement and for 25 or so parents that were/are involved I commend you for what you all are trying and willing to do. For the other 1400 parents I want you to know that you aren't doing your part and you're riding off the coattails of a few people. For the 25 parents that are all-in, good luck because this school and it's people will suck you dry(both financially and mentally). A normal day here is kids driving up to school in a stolen car, fights are daily, gang activity is real. Girls getting dragged by their hair by boys( I saw that while visiting one day), daily bulling, drug activity and I'm sure I'm forgetting other negative aspects. My son went from all A's(that's K thru-6th grade) and never getting in trouble and being a well rounded kid to smoking dope, skipping class, smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. All these things listed actually happened at school and within a 4 month period. As a parent I take full responsibility for not seeing the changes sooner and making adjustments. By the end of the school year my child was broken down to nothing, I didn't even recognize him. We have since changed schools and got to spend the summer in therapy(that cost thousands). He is doing great now and is back to the son I use to know. If you have a good kid I would advise strongly against sending them to this school. It's not worth the risk. Close Quote

Open Quote This school is a joke. They treat your child like cattle. They allow gang activity and bullying to happen right in front of them. My child has only been with this school for 3/4 of the school year and they allowed for my child to be attacked and gang threatened by another student and acted as if it was no big deal. The Principal and Vice principals were extremely defensive and acted as if this situation was my child's fault. If you don't want your child bullied do not send them to this school. Close Quote
