Academically, Oak Grove is a clear standout in its area. The school has also shown remarkable growth in early-grade math, with 3rd-grade proficiency more than doubling from 28.05% to 59.38% in just two years. However, science remains a relative weakness, with only 36.36% of 4th graders proficient compared to the state average of 50.23%. While Concord Elementary School outperforms Oak Grove in 4th-grade science and 3rd-grade reading, Oak Grove maintains a clear advantage in mathematics across most grade levels, making it a strong choice for families prioritizing early math and literacy development.

Open Quote I have a first grader at Oak Grove Elementary and have been very pleased with his academic accomplishments since starting Kindergarten last year. The school offers advanced placement beginning in grade 3 and is well beyond what I expected from a "small town" school which actually adds to the appeal. All the teachers, principal and staff know all of the children, they are warm and welcoming to both children and parents. Also, a variety of extra-curricular programs are offered as well as an after-school program. My son absolutely loves it!! It's been a wonderful experience so far!! Close Quote
