Open Quote A true gem of a school - we need more like it. SES did a great job preparing my two daughters for college. However, more importantly, the unique learning environment and curriculum at SES prepared them for adulthood. They graduated with vastly improved skills in areas like writing, public speaking, leadership, team work, personal responsibility, etc. If you are looking for a school that does more than prepare your child for taking tests, I would highly recommend SES. Open Quote We can't rave enough about SES. This school rocks! Our daughter started this year and loves it. Don't be fooled by the name - Yes, the curriculum weaves in environmental themes, but there is a heavy HEAVY focus on academic excellence in math, science, English, the arts, and giving kids the work ethic and skills they'll need in college. The project-based and peer-group learning model works very well. They consistently score 1st or 2nd in the district State or ACT scores. (great teachers too btw!) Highly recommended! Close Quote

Open Quote A very excellent high school. An unusual place that helps students prepare for college far better than a standard grades 9-12 education. Occasional organizational problems, but its a hippy school, so what can you expect? Close Quote
