The FIT Academy district in Apple Valley, Minnesota serves 458 students across two schools: FIT Academy, an elementary school for grades K–5 with 264 students, and FIT Academy High School, serving grades 6–12 with 194 students. FIT Academy is the stronger of the two. Free/reduced lunch rates are similar (42.42% at the elementary school, 43.3% at the high school), so economic need does not explain the gap between them. Science is the weakest subject at both schools, well below the state's 25.5%.
