| by a parent Saturday, September 15, 2012 This school is amazing! Next best thing to a private school. I'm really enjoying our time at this school. I have a kindergartner and he absolutely loves it. The teachers are very caring & supportive. They take the time to tell you EVERYTHING. My child had an asthma attack & school and I brought the nebulizer up there, his teacher sat in the nurse's office the entire time (while it was recess for her class). The principal calls you back in a timely fashion should you have any issues you need to bring to her attention. They have movie night's on some Friday evenings & math workshops to help you understand their math program (Singapore Math). I love the traditional approach to education. I love how they say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. And the Spalding program to teach your child how to read is the BEST!

| by a parent Wednesday, May 23, 2012 Our children have been enrolled at this school since they opened in 2009. There are some exceptional teachers here and I like the smaller class sizes. However, despite being a public charter school (not a private school!), the administration is very clearly focused on the excelling students, only. If your child is average or below average, they will be overlooked and ignored. If your child has special needs, you should prepare to babysit the administration in an attempt to make them do their jobs. It's very likely we will pull our children out. Even though our children are doing well, I don't believe it's appropriate or fair to give less time, attention or focus on children who need help.

| by a parent Thursday, August 4, 2011 I have three children at ATA. What amazes me the most about Adams is how they truly uphold the definition of Traditional. Not only do my children receive a fundamentally well rounded scholastic approach to learning, but our FAMILY also receives the respect, support and personal connection which simply does not exist in the large public schools. Teachers, principal and staff all work together with the parents to guide children in a positive, challenging direction. One of my children is a child who was falling through the cracks in the public system. At ATA she is truly known, respected for who she really is and held accountable for her choices. I am so very grateful to have found this wonderful school!!

| by a parent Friday, June 10, 2011 I pulled my son out of a public school after taking the tour at ATA. When he was at the public school, he got in trouble because he was bored. At ATA, he has been challenged. He was in 1st grade and was starting to learn time tables. He was required to read 10 books in 1st grade and do book reports on them. He had to memorize poems, learned basic world history, and had art, music, and technology classes. Next year (in 2nd grade), he will be learning cursive and Latin. He's been much happier since going to ATA. I would definitely recommend this school.
