Most importantly, its 2025–2026 WY-TOPP results were above state and district results in every reported grade-and-subject comparison, with the largest relative advantages in mathematics.

Mathematics is the school’s strongest area: grade 9 results were 11 points above the state and 1 point above the district, while grade 10 was 7 points above the state and 2 points above the district. Grade 10 science had the narrowest margins—3 points above the state and less than 1 point above the district. Compared with nearby Horizon Alternative School, Evanston’s grade 10 results were higher by 34 points in math, 24 in English Language Arts and 6 in science.
