Kemmerer, Wyoming, has three schools serving kindergarten through grade 12, with about 637 students combined: Canyon Elementary School serves K–6, while Kemmerer Junior Senior High School and New Frontier High School serve grades 7–12. The most important concern is that results at the two schools with current reported scores shifted from slightly above matched state results in 2024–25 to notably below them in 2025–26: the average gap moved from +2.6 to −7.4 percentage points.
