Open Quote This school is wonderful. The staff really gets to know you as a family. My two stepson's attended this school then there was a three year break, where we did not have any children in this school before my daughter started kindergarten. Every one remembered us and asked about the boys. The staff is very kind. Ms. Kohl and Ms Long in the office are very friendly and helpful, Ms. Christensen (K4), Ms. Kortas (Kindergarten), Mr. Bardly (3rd), Ms. Murphy (3rd) and Ms. Clark (4th) are some of the great teachers we have had the pleasure of getting to know. Each of these teachers are absolutly wonderful. Unfortunatly we are now leaving the Wauwatosa area and my daughter whom just started K4 will not have the chance to work with these teachers. :( Jefferson Elementary, you will be greatly missed! About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
