Among elementaries, Roosevelt Elementary, Kennedy Elementary, Monroe Elementary, and Harrison Elementary each earned 4 stars, scored above the state average in every listed subject, and kept chronic absenteeism between 10.1% and 14.0%. Marshall Middle is the strongest middle school, at the 56th percentile with 3 stars.

Other schools face real challenges. Wilson Elementary sits at the 22nd percentile with 1 star, 92.19% FRPL, the district's highest chronic absenteeism at 33.3%, and the highest regular-school spending at $19,683, yet some of the lowest proficiency. Franklin Middle has the highest spending and lowest student-teacher ratio among middle schools but the lowest proficiency and 30.4% absenteeism, while Rock River Charter School earned 0 stars.
