Stadium High School is a public Tacoma, Washington, high school serving grades 9–12 and approximately 1,700 students, making it one of the larger schools in the area. It is part of the Tacoma School District, but its results are considerably stronger than the district’s overall profile. Stadium ranks in the 72nd percentile statewide and holds a four-star rating, compared with the district’s 37th-percentile, two-star standing.

For families, Stadium’s strongest advantages are graduation and student persistence. In 2024–2025, 96.8% of students graduated and 1.8% dropped out, compared with 91.4% graduation and 6.5% dropout rates districtwide. The school also exceeded district and state proficiency rates in English language arts and science in 2025–2026. Its 63.2% ELA, 38.36% math, and 57.58% science proficiency rates were substantially higher than those at Dr. Dolores Silas High School and Foss High School. Stadium’s math result was especially notable among nearby traditional high schools, although it trailed the state’s 43.11% rate.

I love Stadium! It is the most beautiful high school Iv'e ever seen. A castle, over 100 years old, overlooking the sound. The location is awesome, the students are very diverse and come from all different backgrounds, there are lots of class options, great teachers, and a rich history and culture! It's so cool.
