Open Quote Our two kids attend Opstad. Great school, with amazing teachers, and just needs to have their facilities updated. Bring on those taxes! :-) Close Quote

Open Quote My two kids are now in Middle School, but both attended Opstad from K thru 5th grade. Between the two kids, I think they had 10 different teachers. There wasn't a 'bad' one in the bunch, and 90% of them were well above average. Every teacher we dealt with seemed to have the best interests of the kids at heart. The school serves a large area, with a diverse socioeconomic population, and they seem to do a good job of covering the range. Close Quote

Open Quote Great teachers and a real community. Best school our two children have attended...better than the private preschools and Montessori kindergarten schools they went to. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
