Snohomish High School is a traditional public school serving grades 9–12 in Snohomish, Washington, an area north of the Seattle metropolitan region. With 1,496 students, it is a large comprehensive high school in the Snohomish School District. The district ranks in the 83rd percentile statewide, while the school ranks 118th of 396 Washington high schools, placing it in the 70th percentile and earning a four-star rating.

One of Snohomish’s clearest strengths is helping students stay on track to graduate. The 2024–2025 graduation rate was 95.1%, well above the state’s 82.6%, while the dropout rate fell to 2.7%, compared with 9.8% statewide. Academically, results vary considerably by subject. Science is a standout: 67.84% of students were proficient in 2025–2026, above both district and state results and nearly matching Henry M. Jackson High School. Math is the main concern, with 36.31% proficient—below the district’s 52.80% and the state’s 43.11%. ELA proficiency was 57.10%, above the state but below the district and down sharply from the previous year.

Among nearby comprehensive schools, Snohomish is broadly comparable to Monroe High School, but it trails the stronger academic results of Glacier Peak High School and Henry M. Jackson High School.
