Sequoia High School

Sequoia High School is a small grades 9–12 school in Everett, Washington, serving 145 students in the Everett School District near several other high schools and alternative programs. Its 7.7:1 student-teacher ratio is unusually low, suggesting a highly individualized setting, although the school’s small enrollment can make year-to-year results vary considerably.

With 67.59% of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and reported spending of $46,375 per student, the school may warrant close review of how resources support math instruction, student persistence, and economically disadvantaged students.
