Summary

Olivia Park Elementary is a public K-5 school serving 559 students in the Mukilteo School District in Everett, WA, which faces significant academic challenges, ranking in the bottom 20% of Washington state elementary schools.

The school's test scores in English, math, and science are notably below both district and state averages, and it serves a high-need population, with over 73% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. Performance is particularly low and concerning for students in special education, and there have been recent, sharp declines in performance for English Language Learners. When comparing grades, fourth grade appears to be a particularly weak point for student achievement.

An important comparison for parents is that nearby schools in the Everett School District, such as Emerson Elementary and Silver Lake Elementary, achieve significantly better results with similar student demographics, suggesting district-level factors may be at play. Within its own district, Olivia Park performs similarly to other high-need schools like Horizon Elementary but lags behind others like Fairmount Elementary.

Open Quote I Love the teachers and staff here! I would give 5 stars but...
They seriously need to do something about parent pick up! The lines are crazy long, some of the classes wander out 10 minutes after they are supposed to forcing everyone to wait longer, it already takes a good 20 minutes to pick up our children, one of the biggest problems is people making illegal left turns out of the parking lot when the sign clearly says NOT to, I have almost been hit several times because people refuse to obey the rules! Maybe an officer needs to sit there for a while or something Close Quote
