Valhalla Elementary School is a PK–5 school serving approximately 517 students in Auburn, in the Federal Way area, with several nearby elementary and K–8 schools offering useful local comparisons. The school ranks in the 42nd percentile statewide, or 665th of 1,138 Washington schools, and receives two stars. Although its overall performance remains below the state midpoint, its recent progress is notable: the school rose from the 16th percentile in 2023–2024 to the 31st percentile in 2024–2025 and the 42nd percentile in 2025–2026.

Valhalla is one of the stronger traditional elementary schools in its area. It currently trails Camelot Elementary School, at the 52nd percentile, but leads Star Lake Elementary School, Meredith Hill Elementary School, and Wildwood Elementary School.
