For 2025–2026, it ranked 440th out of 1,138 Washington elementary schools, placing it in the 61st percentile and making it one of the stronger schools in its local comparison group.

York’s strongest feature is its recent academic performance, especially in math and science. In 2025–2026, 53.70% of students met standards in math and 64.71% did so in science, compared with 33.45% and 40.43%, respectively, across the district. York also exceeded the state in both subjects.
