Valley View Elementary School is a public K–5 school in Ellensburg, Washington, serving 408 students in the Ellensburg School District. It is the district’s largest elementary school and ranks in the 62nd percentile statewide, with a 3-star rating. Overall, Valley View performs above Washington averages in English language arts (ELA) and mathematics, while science is slightly above the state level.

Mathematics is Valley View’s clearest strength. Its 2025–2026 math proficiency rate was 51.98%, the highest among the four Ellensburg elementary schools and 8.87 percentage points above the state average. Third-grade math was especially strong at 69.23%, while fifth-grade math was a concern at 36.99%, below both district and state results. ELA proficiency was 54.95%, above the district and state averages and second locally behind Ida Nason Aronica Elementary. Third-grade ELA was another standout at 63.08%, but fourth-grade ELA fell below the state average. Science reached 52.78%, slightly above Washington overall but below nearby schools, including Kittitas Elementary School.
