Academic results are below district and state levels in every reported subject and grade. Sixth-grade math is the clearest concern, with 20.8% of students proficient, although seventh-grade math improved to 38.3%. Science is a relative strength in sixth grade, at 56.4%, near the state rate, while seventh-grade science falls to 43.8%. Compared with similar grade 6–7 schools, Mt. Nebo trails Spring Canyon Middle, Maple Grove Middle, and Valley View Middle in most subjects. Its results are closer to Diamond Fork Middle.
