Maple Grove Middle is a large public school in Mapleton, Utah, serving 1,195 students in grades 6–8 within the Nebo District. The school is near several other district middle schools and ranks 65th out of 217 Utah middle schools for 2025–2026, placing it in the 70th percentile. Its current standing remains notably stronger than it was two to three years ago, although it slipped from 50th place the previous year.

Academically, Maple Grove performs above the district in all six reported grade-subject areas. Its clearest strength is sixth-grade science, where 74.3% of students were proficient—well above the district’s 62.6% and the state’s 58.2%. Seventh-grade math was another strong area at 53.7%, compared with 48.5% districtwide.
