Vista School is a large alternative public school in Ivins, Utah, serving 1,114 students in kindergarten through ninth grade in the southern Utah area. Its broad grade range and enrollment make it substantially larger than the nearby alternative schools in this comparison. About 36.27% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and the latest student-teacher ratio was 21.0 to 1.

Vista’s academic results are generally well above Utah averages. In grades 3–8, the school exceeded the state in five of six English Language Arts grades and four of six mathematics grades. Science is a particular strength: 70.1% of eighth graders and 64.4% of ninth graders were proficient, compared with 50.8% and 49.7% statewide. Ninth-grade ELA and mathematics also exceeded state results.
