Open Quote This school is wonderful. I am a parent of three kiddos and have moved quite a few times over the years. We have been in CFES district for the past six years. My middle child attended for two years until he promoted to junior high, and my youngest has been at CFES for more than four years now.

Of all the schools I've sent my children to, private or public (in Louisiana, Texas, Massachusetts, and Alberta, Canada) this is by far the best elementary school... hands down.

The teachers are top-notch. The principal is involved and respected. The parental involvement is wonderful. The atmosphere is inclusive and positive. The students are nurtured, challenged, and happy. I wish I could give this school 6 stars instead of 5. Honestly, we've paid for quite a few private schools over the years that don't hold a candle to this public neighborhood elementary school. Open Quote If you don't mind spending thousands of dollars trying to catch your child up. Then this is the school for you. Teacher missing 20 something days the first semester. Your child sitting in the halls waiting for subs. Poor communication from the staff. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
