Open Quote I would seriously reconsider enrolling your children here. You can find a lot about the school online. Look for the truth Close Quote

Open Quote Best school I ever taught at. Wonderful kids. Great teachers and administration. I had to relocate out of state, otherwise I'd still be teaching there. COVID was tough, but that was the case everywhere. Close Quote

Open Quote They FAILED my kid during the Covid lockdown. His grades have been honor roll every year of school until this year where his grades have slipped down to C’s and B’s and then the last half of the year with everything going on his grades slipped in math and language. Not because he didn’t understand the content but because he could not understand how to work zoom and the other five types of platforms he had to go to to get all of his school information.
It was extremely disorganized and very frustrating. His father is a first responder and I myself am a volunteer at a homeless advocacy outreach so we both were dealing with the Hectic stress of trying to work, volunteer, get his school stuff together, have Trustworthy and reliable supervision for him since there was no longer the option of babysitters or daycare.
It was horrible just trying to figure out how to get through the day much less having to deal with him needing to be in a six hour full-time online school.
His grades slipped not because he didn’t do the work or he made bad grades on tests but because it was very confusing on how he was supposed to turn in certain items and no one was trying to make it clear on what he was supposed to do at home, what he was supposed to do online, and what he was supposed to do at home but turn in online.
You would think there would be some sort of leniency during this time , But no instead his teacher decided to get him a failing grade.
Keep in mind what I said before about he was an honor roll student until this one class.
He knows all of the information he gets straight A’s on his tests. So is the problem with him or with a teacher I don’t know it’s not for me to say because I’m not there with him at school and I don’t know but I will tell you that I was here with him at home and I myself could not figure out what they expected either. It was just too much work and zero direction.
Before this incident I would’ve given the school three maybe four stars but the way that they handled all of this and the fact that they actually gave him a failing grade ... he will not be going back next year Close Quote
