Santa Anna Secondary is a small, rural school in Santa Anna, TX, serving 113 students in grades 7-12 as part of the Santa Anna Independent School District (Isd). The school has experienced a dramatic decline in recent years, dropping from a 4-star rating in 2022-2023 to a 1-star rating in 2025-2026, a fall of over 950 places in state rankings. This downturn is the most critical story for parents to understand, especially when compared to nearby schools like Bangs High School and Coleman High School, which have maintained more stable rankings in the 50th-70th percentiles.
