Open Quote As a parent, I am very disappointed with the teacher quality at this school. I would estimate that 75% of the teachers spend class time talking about topics unrelated to the subject matter, are not capable of explaining the topics in depth, or unfairly favor certain student demographics over others. My son attended elementary and intermediate school in the same school district and the teachers there were much better than the teachers at this high school. Close Quote

Open Quote This school looks good on paper and from the outside. The teacher turnover rate is very high. Teachers have no support from the administration which directly affects the classroom. The level of education is very poor. Academics are sacrificed to athletics. TAKS means everything; when scores decrease, teachers are targeted and used a scapegoats. Close Quote
