Open Quote My son has been going to this school for more than 5 years. I must say this is one the best decisions we made for my son. We have great administration, great teachers and excellent collaboration between parents/teachers/students/administration and is a family like environment where I see great deal of synergy between various entities that has ultimately led to my son's success so far.

Academics & teaching: My son (10th grade) says he has best teachers in his high school section. He has witnessed and interacted with teachers/students from other institution and he says he is very fortunate to have one of the best Math teachers who teaches with passion and can solve any complex problem with ease, best AP History who really is preparing for college readiness with rigorous training/novel method of note taking, best science teachers who are passionate & humble, best English (I can see significant improvement whether it is SAT or STAAR), dedicated PLTW Engineering teacher who spends weekends teaching students and Computer science teachers with commitment.

Counsellors: We have a very highly qualified counsellor who routinely keeps in touch with Parents & Students with valuable advise and shares tremendous opportunities, scholarship, internship information with Parents/Students. Very amicable, knowledgeable & approachable. Also, we have a good organized testing coordinator.

Principal: Our new principal is an excellent listener, approachable , dedicated who provides great support to Parents & teachers. He believes in empowering teachers and solves problems efficiently. I had come across certain situations where we were confused on some of the choices and were concerned for a month. I requested a meeting with him and in one meeting he resolved mine/my son's concerns in a way that will help my son perform better. We are fortunate to have this principal who believes in providing necessary resources to get job done.

Extracurricular activities: In last one year, I have seen a spike in extracurricular activities. HSEnd qualified for the Nationals in Team America Rocketry Challenge where they were finalists. This was the only school that qualified and one of very few schools from Texas. As for the science fairs & science projects, I see many winners for Austin Energy regional science fairs and some advancing to internationals. I have seen students from this school recipients of Math competition awards, Chess nationals, Science Olympiads, Robotics. School has numerous other programs/clubs such as NHS, CRLP, Math Club, TARC, Socratic Seminar, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball team etc. Our new Math teacher is aiming for rigorous training to help students qualify for AMC next year. Weekend SAT prep classes is another plus.

Administration: Very friendly administration, warm welcoming Dean, responsive & caring front office and district staff. In fact I know almost all of them personally and they make us feel comfortable and are very helpful.

I can confidently tell you that my son would not have been where he is if not for this school. In fact last summer due to my job situation, I was planning to change school. My son was disappointed and I had no choice but to stay back until he graduates.

My son never experienced any bullying in this school. This school has taken away lot of my worries and gives me a sense of satisfaction & security and I am confident that my child is in good hands and the school has what it takes to help achieve my son's dream (i.e. getting in to one of the IVY League colleges).

Thank you Harmony and its staff - myself, my wife and my child are very grateful to you. Please keep up the good work. Close Quote
