Clyde Riggs Elementary School is a K–5 school in Portland, Tennessee, serving 301 students as part of Sumner County Schools. The school has historically been a solid performer — ranking in the 80th percentile statewide as recently as 2022–2023 — but the latest data shows a sharp decline. In 2025–2026, the school fell to the 32nd percentile with a 2-star rating, with proficiency rates in math, ELA, and science dropping below both state and district averages for the first time in years.
