Christiana is a consistently strong 4-star school, with proficiency rates in math, English language arts, and science that beat both district and state averages. In the most recent school year, math proficiency was 57.8%, ELA was 56.1%, and science was 59%. The school also stands out for exceptionally low chronic absenteeism—just 6.5%, compared to 18.3% statewide. Perhaps most impressive are the outcomes for students who are historically underserved elsewhere. African American students ranked in the 92nd–95th percentile statewide, and students from low-income families jumped from the 57th to the 93rd percentile in just one year. Special education results have also improved dramatically, going from a 1-star rating to a 4-star rating over three years.
