Roane County High School is a comprehensive public high school in Kingston, TN, serving 625 students in grades 9–12 within the Roane County Schools district. It holds a solid 4-star state rating and currently ranks 86th out of 400 Tennessee high schools (78th percentile), up from 114th the prior year. It is the largest of the county's high schools, serving more students than Oliver Springs High School, Rockwood High School, Midway High School, and Harriman High School.

Academically, RCHS outperforms its district and the state in most subjects. Notable standouts include Biology I (66.5% proficient vs. 49.8% statewide) and Algebra II (49.6% vs. 37.3%), with English II, US History, and English I also exceeding state averages.
