Hixson High School is a comprehensive public high school in the Hixson community of Hamilton County, Tennessee, serving approximately 920 students in grades 9 through 12. The school is part of Hamilton County Schools, a district that ranks in the middle of Tennessee's 141 districts, and Hixson currently holds a 2-star rating from the state, ranking 207th out of 400 high schools statewide.

Academically, Hixson lags behind both district and state averages in most subjects.
