The school has improved its overall state ranking over the past two years, climbing to 223rd out of 400 Tennessee high schools and earning a 2-star rating. Cosby's biggest strengths are its high graduation rate and standout performance in Biology and English II, while its main challenges include chronic absenteeism and below-average scores in math, freshman English, and U.S. history.
