As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This school continues to disappoint.Very sad , You dont get school notices and if your child misses school you are not aware till 3 hours after school starts. which is just 1 out of many problems this school has...You hope to take your child to a school that cares about the kids and the purpose for school. This school only cares about getting paid. I enrolled my child into the school daycare and it got too expensive because they over charge..and for a school! I just couldnt afford being ripped off not to mention the lady watching the kids was extremely rude the first time I met her. I had to pull my daughter out and I paid on time and for all her time being there however they still are wanting to charge me 80 dollars for time she was never there!!! and I have not paid them this because I do not owe them a dime. So instead of being civil and appropriate they tell me I cant have my childs report cards anymore until I pay them money I dont even owe!! What kind of so called school charges the child to receive a report card? I will tell you This place is not a real school its full of glorified babysitters who dont care about making it a good place for kids to go they care about money!! All of the pto meetings are about money! Time after time they show true colors. When my daughter was in the first grade the teacher told us to bring head phones for their assignments. My daughter left them in her cubby and within a few days they were stolen...and I spoke with the teacher about it and she did nothing.Even recently they charged my daughter 6 dollars for a quarter size chapstick and a small cheap keychain at the holiday gift shop they have at school.. Ripped my 7 year old daughter off who doesnt know any better. Who can rip a child off? thats about as low as it gets for a school. This is extremely stressful and I am ashamed for my child to be in this school.I dont trust them with my child and I dont support what they stand for. My daughter has learned more with me at home than at west cheatham elementary . She comes home most days and tells me they watch movies and shows and teacher never gives out homework!! This school needs new teachers and a principle that knows how to run a school. I will never donat another dime to this place for nothing. So disappointed and my child deserves so much better than this! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
