Cannon North Elementary School, located in Readyville, TN, serves 238 students in grades PK-5 and is part of Cannon County Schools, a district ranked near the bottom of Tennessee. Despite that, Cannon North has shown clear improvement: its 2025-2026 state rank jumped to the 31st percentile (2 stars), up from the 17th percentile the year before. Its proficiency rates in math, English Language Arts, and science all exceed the district average, though they remain roughly 6-10 points below state averages. The school's math scores have nearly tripled in three years, and its ELA and science scores have risen steadily, making it one of the fastest-improving schools in the area.
