Open Quote My freshman year here has been absolutely awful. It was so bad that after only attending it for one year, I want to leave. I have never been more miserable at a place in my life. I have never experienced more drama than at this highschool. Most of the staff don't help or don't care. The list goes on and on. I hate it with a passion. It is way too big and only is accepting more students as if the school can handle it. You can't even walk through a hallway without there being a crowd you have to push through. Most people are so rude. I have been taking advantage of, made fun of, had panic attacks, anxiety, depression, and been betrayed by one of my closest friends. I have no one and feel so alone. The only people who care and are nice are in the Theatre Department. The buses are always having issues, some an hour late to stops. There are kids who don't even have a bus. Or are an hour late because of their bus. Overcrowding is terrible and the pressure put on student's is so ridiculous. I can tell the teachers don't care, and just want to get paid. I have also been made fun of by some of them, and been told really rude things. There are constantly fights, with kids filming them. There are always drugs, and people steal each other's belongings. I have never been more physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted at a place in my life. Don't even get me started on what kinds of things people talk about on the bus, I have even caught kids vaping on them. It is ripping me apart inside. I am always so tired that I find myself snapping at everyone in my family, and get no sleep, resulting in ruined relationships. The theatre and choir programs are too competitive to the point where you get accepted into nothing, especially as a freshman. I almost cried because of the things I have been told by a teacher. Wando changes people, it ruins them. I am so tired of here, and will very likely not be returning because it is so bad. I cannot wait for the year to be over. It has been the worst year of my life in school. I am always feeling self conscious and hate that. It is so exhausting. Also, you can barely even get through the car line. The school is too far away from places. I have been yelled at by the bus driver. Kids here are so immature. I never have a partner. I have had so many bad days. Too many stories. I don't understand how anyone can be happy here. The vending machines usually just take your money, you a lot of times, have to shake the machine to get it out. Then get yelled at by administrators for doing so. The staff give out way too harsh of punishments. I have never had anxiety in my life, but now I do. There have been so many struggles with teachers. It is just terrible. They make it look good, and cover up what really happens. I am so done with it. Close Quote

Open Quote I recently graduated from Wando and I can honestly say it was the best high school experience. There is intense school pride and I am very happy I went there. Close Quote
