Redmond High School is a comprehensive 9–12 school in Redmond, Oregon, in the high-desert region of central Oregon, serving 896 students as one of two large high schools in Redmond School District 2J — slightly larger than Ridgeview High School, 2.78 miles away, which enrolls 844.

For 2025–26 the school ranks 176th of 271 Oregon high schools (35th percentile, 2 stars), below its own district, which ranks 45th of 141 (68th percentile, 3 stars). Over the past decade Redmond has moved between the 7th and 51st percentile and has never finished in the top half of the state; it peaked in 2021–22, fell to 0 stars and the 7th percentile in 2023–24 and 2024–25, then rebounded sharply in 2025–26. That rebound is relative — proficiency still sits below state averages in English language arts (30.0% vs. 46.0%), math (21.6% vs. 22.9%), and science (28.0% vs. 33.8%). The most striking contrast is with Ridgeview High School, a similar-sized, similar-poverty campus nearby: Ridgeview outperforms Redmond in ELA (54.7% vs. 30.0%) and math (27.6% vs. 21.6%), while Redmond outperforms Ridgeview in science (28.0% vs. 16.2%).
