The district ranks #2 of 141 Oregon districts, at the 99th percentile with 5 stars. Enrollment is about 2,603 elementary students (38.2%), 1,679 middle (24.7%), and 2,523 high (37.1%). The largest school is Lake Oswego High School with 1,282 students, and the smallest is Palisades World Language School with 252.

The elite elementary performers are Westridge Elementary School and Palisades World Language School. Westridge ranks #2 of 709 elementary schools and was #1 the prior year, with 87.6% proficient in ELA, 88.8% in math, 82.5% in science, 3rd-grade math at least 95%, and 9.9% chronic absenteeism.
