Its graduation rate is 97.8%, staying between 96.6% and 98.2% in each of the last five reported years.

Green sits in a tight top-tier cluster with Lake Middle / High School (95th percentile) and Hoover High School (91st percentile), and well ahead of Jackson High School (71st percentile) and Manchester High School (79th percentile). Lake is the closest and most useful benchmark: it serves slightly more students, spends less per pupil ($9,793 vs. $10,240), yet beats Green in all six tested subjects — the widest gap being Algebra I at 89.0% versus 74.5%.
