Sandy Valley Elementary School is a PK–5 school at 5018 State Route 183 NE in Magnolia, Ohio, serving 577 students as the largest building in the small Sandy Valley Local district in a rural-suburban area about ten miles from Canton. In 2025-26 it ranks 697th of 1,560 Ohio elementaries (55th percentile, 3 stars), notably ahead of its own district, which ranks 405th of 773 (48th percentile) — for nearly every test the school's proficiency numbers are identical to the district's, meaning this building essentially carries the district's tested population at these grades.

The school's results split sharply by grade. Fourth-grade math is its showcase: 82.1% proficient, about 15 points above the state (67.3%) and within a point of Faircrest Memorial Elementary School (82.7%), ahead of Dover Avenue Elementary School (79.4%) and Lohr Elementary School (79.8%).
