Whitmer High School is a comprehensive 9–12 school on Clegg Drive in Toledo, Ohio, and with 2,113 students it is the only traditional high school in the Washington Local district — by far the largest school in its local comparison group. On the state's measures it currently sits below the middle of Ohio high schools, ranking 575th of 795 (28th percentile, 1 star) in 2025-2026, with its district rated similarly. That reflects Ohio's statewide distribution rather than Whitmer's standing among nearby options, and it follows a long slide from the 47th percentile in 2017-2018 before leveling off in the last two years.

Against the other large Toledo City high schools, Whitmer is clearly ahead. Its 84.7% graduation rate beats the Toledo City district's 80.7% and far outpaces Woodward High School (69.2%), Jesup W.
