Open Quote I'm so glad I never have to go back to this horrible school! They never having any snow days, even when its a level 2 or level 3 road conditions. Every time you call and try to talk to the superintendent about your concerns for your student and the way the school functions, all he says is "Thanks for sharing" treating you like its freaking kindergarten show and tell, then doesn't do a thing about it. Once you tell them that you are considering going to another school, they start coming up with everything they can do to accommodate you so you'll stay. Nope sorry we've been telling you about our concerns for years, you've had your chance to fix them and you didn't, we are done with your messed up system. Also, when your kid come out of school crying because their last two class periods were so stressful because the kids were being so rude and disrespectful that the teacher literally didn't teach, they spent the whole time yelling at the class as a whole even though half the class was sitting there quietly waiting to learn. when a teacher threatens to send the misbehaved kids to the principals office if they keep interrupting and being rude and they keep interrupting and the teacher doesn't do anything thats just showing the kids that the teacher lacks controls and that they can do what ever they want because their not gonna get in real trouble. When you go to the Athletic Director and tell them that your kids are coming home from practice and telling you that the coaches are streaming, swearing at the team, and telling the kids that they are worthless the whole practice and making them do punishment drills (this happens in more then one sport) and the Athletic Director doesn't do anything ... Thats ridiculous! In one of the sports, All the moms sign a form saying that they didn't like the coach and wanted him fired and gave it to the athletic director and nothing happed. Close Quote

Open Quote My daughter graduated in 2007. She is in college with a double major in Chemistry, and Biology, and was very well prepared for her college studies. She is actually starting her 3rd year, and she has enough credits to be rated as senior. She will have enough credits to graduate well ahead of schedule. I would recommend Ottawa Hills schools to anyone, (and frequently do). Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
