Hilliard Darby High School is a large comprehensive public high school serving 1,674 students in grades 9–12 in Hilliard, Ohio, a western suburb of Columbus. It is one of three comprehensive high schools in the Hilliard City district, and for 2025–2026 it ranked 240th of 795 Ohio high schools — the 70th percentile, earning 4 stars, essentially in line with its district's overall standing. Over the past decade Darby has been consistently solid but not elite, moving within a moderate band from the 64th to the 77th percentile.

Darby's test results split between humanities and science, where it is strong, and math, where it is soft. Biology proficiency is 84.2%, about 17 points above the state, and American History is 83.3%. English II has climbed steadily, from 64.2% three years ago to 74.7%, and Geometry has improved to 60.2%. Algebra I is the standout weak spot: 61.6%, exactly the state average and 13 points below its own district, a gap that has persisted for four years. All three Hilliard comprehensive high schools sit below the district's Algebra I figure, suggesting accelerated eighth-grade test-takers elsewhere may be lifting the district number.
