New Bremen High School is a 7th–12th grade school serving 384 students in the small, rural community of New Bremen, Ohio (Auglaize/Mercer County area), as part of the New Bremen Local district. Proficiency runs 25–40 points above the state in every tested subject: Algebra I at 98.5% (versus 61.6% statewide), American History 96.5%, Government 95.8%, Biology 93.8%, English II 90.8%, Geometry 86.2%, and 8th grade math, science, and English all above 92%. Graduation rates have held between 98% and 100% every year for five years, and chronic absenteeism has dropped to 4.9% — roughly a quarter of the rate at nearby Celina High School (19.9%) and St Marys Memorial High School (15.7%). New Bremen sits at the top of the region's second tier — behind Marion Local High School and roughly level with Minster Junior/Senior High School and Fort Loramie Junior-Senior High School — while decisively outperforming the larger nearby comprehensive high schools.

Two areas are worth watching. Geometry is the softest subject at 86.2%, about 12 points below the school's own Algebra I result, but Minster and Fort Loramie show nearly identical internal gaps, so this looks like a regional testing-sequence pattern rather than a program weakness. Seventh-grade math is the one place the school trails its own district figure, though cohorts reliably gain ground by 8th grade. Meanwhile, the share of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch more than doubled in two years, from 11.31% to 28.12%, and that subgroup ranked at the 87th percentile in 2024-25 — still strong, but the school's largest internal gap.
