Chesapeake Middle School is a grades 5–8 school in Chesapeake, Ohio, serving 342 students as part of Chesapeake Union Exempted Village. It ranks 399 of 1,046 Ohio middle schools in 2025–2026, placing it in the 62nd percentile with 3 stars — its strongest showing since 2018–2019 and a clear rise from the 46th percentile in 2023–2024. The school serves a high-poverty community: 56.54% of students were eligible for free or reduced lunch in 2023–2024. Class sizes have also gotten smaller, with the student-teacher ratio improving from 16.7 in 2022–2023 to 15.5 in 2024–2025.

Reading and writing are the school's clear academic strength.
