On 2025–26 state tests, Chesapeake led every nearby school on all four grade 3 and 4 measures: 95.3% proficient in 3rd grade math, 96.6% in 3rd grade ELA, 90.2% in 4th grade math and 91.2% in 4th grade ELA — roughly 23 to 33 points above Ohio statewide. Symmes Valley Elementary School posted 84.1, 88.6, 85.7 and 71.4; Dawson-Bryant Elementary School 79.7, 89.9, 91.4 and 74.2; Rock Hill Elementary School 66.3, 66.3, 49.0 and 60.8. The rise is concentrated in 3rd grade: math went from 78.5% in 2022–23 to 95.3% and ELA from 69.6% to 96.6%, while 4th grade results have held in the low 90s.
