Hilliard City serves high school students in grades 9–12 across four schools: three large traditional comprehensive high schools and one small online academy, together enrolling about 5,325 students. The district is rated 3 stars and ranks 238th of 773 Ohio districts. The three traditional schools — Hilliard Davidson High School (1,847 students), Hilliard Bradley High School (1,712), and Hilliard Darby High School (1,674) — are all 4-star schools ranked near the 70th–76th percentile and score at or above the state in every reported subject. Hilliard Online Academy enrolls just 92 students.
Davidson is the academic leader, with the highest graduation rate (96.5%), the lowest chronic absenteeism among the traditional schools (14.8%), and top marks in most subjects. Bradley ranks second and exceeds the state in all reported subjects, even with the highest free/reduced lunch rate among traditional schools (37.27%) and the largest traditional classes (19.2 students per teacher). Darby has the smallest classes (16.8 per teacher) and strong Biology proficiency (84.2%), but the lowest traditional graduation rate at 91.5%.

Algebra I proficiency declined at all three traditional high schools while the state improved; Davidson's 57.6% sits below both the district and the state.
