As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote First of all, this school doesn't even deserve one star! I recently moved here, and we ignored all the bad reviews, so I suggest you don't do the same! Do NOT move here! The girl next to me didn't even know what STATE she lived in! This school is pathetic! I'm moving back to my old school this Summer (If you want good schools go to the East Coast!) The teachers here are just plain rude and nasty! My first day of school I asked the secretary where you waited for parent pickup, and she rolled her eyes at me. I told her I was new and she said "Why don't you just call your parents?" Then got back to her work. My English teacher SWEARS at the students! Speaking of the students, they are TERRIBLE. They are loud, lazy, rude, and self concerned! I was the only one out of a class of 30 students to complete the easiest project on time! They are incredibly inappropriate, to the point where I don't even want to be in the same room with them. Nevada is ranked about number 48 in education out of the states! Half this school is illiterate and you'll find yourself having no help because the help is all focused on the children who can't read or write, which in return makes your own grades fail. These children should be held back, not moved to high school next year! This school district is overall a failure! I'm so embarrassed to call this my school! Do yourself and your child a huge favor and do not move here! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
