Lincoln Elementary School has had fluctuating academic performance on the NJSLA (New Jersey Student Learning Assessment) over the past few years, with proficiency rates ranging from 20.3% to 59.3% in English Language Arts and 33.9% to 56.9% in Mathematics for 3rd grade. Lincoln Elementary School also experiences higher chronic absenteeism rates compared to the state average, which may be a contributing factor to its academic performance.

While Lincoln Elementary School faces some challenges, it has relatively low rates of free and reduced-price lunch eligibility compared to nearby schools like North Dover Elementary School and East Dover Elementary School. However, the school's performance is generally lower than the higher-performing nearby schools, such as Mount Tabor Elementary School and Lakeview Elementary School. Addressing the factors contributing to the school's academic performance, such as instructional quality, school leadership, and student engagement, could be important areas for improvement.
