Jackson Township High School serves 1,012 students in grades 9–12 in Jackson Township, Ocean County. The school’s latest results show achievement below state levels across the reported tests, with especially weak math performance: just 16% were proficient on Geometry end-of-course and 11% on grade 9 Algebra I, compared with 52% and 22% statewide. The most important concern is the depth of these math gaps, particularly in Geometry.

The strongest relative result is 11th-grade NJGPA mathematics: 57% were proficient, just 4 points below the state, and the result was higher than three of the six nearby schools with reported scores. By contrast, grade 9 Algebra I was the lowest among nearby schools with results, while Geometry end-of-course was second-lowest. The school’s 29% chronic absenteeism rate in 2024–25 was also higher than the state’s 14%, the district’s 21%, and every nearby school with a reported rate.
