Dixon Elementary is a Pre-K–5 public school in the coastal community of Holly Ridge, NC, serving about 760 students in the Onslow County Schools district. It currently holds a 3-star rating, ranking in the 62nd percentile of North Carolina elementary schools, though its statewide rank has declined steadily since peaking at the 89th percentile in 2020–21. The school serves a relatively low-poverty student body, with 33.4% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, and has a strong attendance record: just 13.7% of students are chronically absent, compared with 22.7% for the district and 24.2% statewide.

Dixon Elementary's strongest subjects are reading and science.
