Croft Community School is a PK–5 elementary school in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools serving 459 students in a northern Charlotte neighborhood where nearly every nearby school enrolls high numbers of children from low-income families. In 2024-25, over 99% of Croft's students qualified for free or reduced-price lunch — yet the school earned a 4-star rating and ranked 404th out of 1,492 North Carolina elementary schools in the 2025-26 state rankings, placing it at the 73rd percentile.
