Mineral Springs Elementary is a PK–5 school in Winston-Salem, NC, serving 545 students in the Winston Salem / Forsyth County Schools district, where nearly all students (99.45%) qualify for free/reduced-price lunch. The school ranks in the 22nd percentile statewide — in the bottom quarter of North Carolina elementary schools — but that marks a strong recovery from pandemic-era lows of just the 2nd percentile in 2021-22. While still below its pre-pandemic standing of the 34th percentile in 2018-19, the upward trend is real and consistent.
